Responsibilities: The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, building, programming and supporting the automated systems that assemble the many cutting-edge products offered by Hydro-Gear. Core Responsibilities of our Manufacturing Engineer:
- Conduct continuous improvement opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability
- Select techniques to solve problems and make sound process and programming recommendations
- Support existing production products and technical assignments
- Create required controlled documents
- Maintain standards for current processes
- Deploying and integrating automation improvements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent four-year college or technical school and 2 years of relevant experience
- Mechanical, Electrical, Robotic knowledge
- Pneumatic, hydraulics and fluid systems knowledge

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent four-year college or technical school and 2 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of relevant experience and training, or an equivalent combination of both education and experience
- Knowledge of production processes
- Experience in error-proofing concepts and basic production processes
- Entry level knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
- Experience with presses and fasteners
- Experience in project management and process control documentation skills
