With its most recent acquisitions, they are bolstering its status as one of the foremost landing gear, actuation and hydraulic system designers and manufacturers in the global aerospace industry.Division info:The landing gear market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the operators in both the commercial and military markets.The Manufacturing Engineer will assume overall engineering responsibility for specific parts/projects as they make their way through the manufacturing process.Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:- Formulating manufacturing process plans by using bills of material, project development schedules and operation detail sheets- Investigating the entry of the above into the MRP system- Reviewing Contract Review forms for accuracy to the quote- Liaising with customers regarding part revision changes and informing pertinent departments by incorporating these changes into the Master Process Plan- Instigating the design and purchase of fixtures, special tools and handling equipment required- Developing rework schemes- Studying and improving the manufacturing process by monitoring quality, cycle times and methods of operations- Conducting oneself in a professional manner and adhering to all company policies, procedures and health and safety requirementsMonday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
