**Position Information**
+ This is an on-site position in Hodges, SC.
**Role Definition:**
Provides technical expertise necessary to ensure compliance to safety guidelines and environmental requirements for existing and new manufacturing operations. This role will focus on the implementation of safety standards, standard work in terms of safety, project management of safety related projects and identifying solutions using technology and continuous improvement in the support of safety and environment.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Identifying and implementing enhancements and modifications to complex manufacturing operations equipment and processes to improve safety and environmental compliance.
+ Use Ergonomic Tools to analyze equipment and processes to develop actions to address risk.
+ Providing direct coaching and development for operations technical staff and support areas regarding process safety and environmental compliance.
+ Leading engineering support on planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, and facilities to ensure EHS process are followed.
**What you bring to the table:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or EHS function.
+ **Lean Manufacturing:** Working knowledge of the philosophy, principles and implementation approaches of lean manufacturing; ability to integrate and implement lean manufacturing philosophy into existing production and management processes.
+ **Manufacturing Safety:** Extensive experience using manufacturing safety; ability to identify work-related hazards and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for the safety and protection of workers, environment, and site.
+ **Manufacturing Standards, Procedures and Policies:** Extensive experience using organizational standards, procedures, and policies in manufacturing activities; ability to plan, guide, and monitor manufacturing processes for compliance.
+ **Problem Management Process - MFG:** Extensive experience using manufacturing problem management processes, methodologies, and techniques; ability to use a disciplined approach to bringing that problem to a successful resolution.
