Insight Global is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for a large OEM to ork closely with the Value Added Assembly (VAA) Supplier to ensure they have the resources needed to succeed, track their launch progress, achieve timely deliverables of tasks on the critical path, and facilitate clear communication with the GM Team. Required Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent training and experienceSeasoned professional with 8-10 years of experience in the automotive industry with hands-on experience in assembly processes, understanding of tooling and equipment, material flow, quality and fast paced production environmentMinimum of 4 years of experience in Project/Program ManagementWorking knowledge of just-in-time assembly and sequencing, time studies, line balancing and throughput analysisWell versed in the development of PFMEA, red rabbit and possess good understanding of various error proofing methodologies (vision system, part presence sensing, assembly sequence...) Nice to Have Skills & ExperienceWorking knowledge of Body Dimensional, GD&T, and Part Data AnalysisIn-depth experience in the assembly processes of the above mentioned VAA modules Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
