Job DescriptionInsight Global is looking for an Industrial Engineer at a large automotive customer in the Flint area. The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for working closely with the manufacturing team to optimize our production processes, ensure product quality, and reduce costs. The ideal candidate will have experience within the automotive industry, experience with industrial engineering, and a passion for driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and can adapt quickly to changing conditions. This candidate must be willing to do some occasional travel to other plants.Job Responsibilities:Study and validate material routes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvementsReview time savings for automation projects and ensure alignment with project goalsWork closely with the planning team to integrate material optimization strategies into overall production plansCollaborate with plant Industrial Engineering teams to gather insights and ensure effective implementation of optimization initiativesSupport execution teams by providing industrial engineering expertise and addressing challenges during project implementationWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
