Now is your chance as Hearth & Home Technologies is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer in Lake City, MN. This position has core hours of Monday through Thursday, 6:00AM - 4:30PM . A successful Manufacturing Engineer will impact the business by:* Managing small to large scale projects to achieve timely improvements to SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) metrics.* Drive facility's lean culture by supporting business process improvements through Continuous Improvement events.* Assess and eliminate safety risks in the manufacturing environment and drive improvements to ergonomics throughout the production process.* Establish production run rates, balance standard work, create smooth flow of material and finished product.* Improve product quality by building quality control and mistake-proofing into the manufacturing process.* Drive cost reduction through improved labor efficiency, improved material utilization, reduced defect rates* Implement product changes through ECO process and support new product launches.Required Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Related Field* 4 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.* Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, primarily Excel, Project, Outlook; & AutoCAD* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principlesSkills and Abilities* Must be organized, ability to prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and projects.* Ability to influence and adapt to continuous improvement driven change.* Proven project leadership* Strong communication and presentation skills* Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and think strategically* Work with cross functional teams and leaders* Ability to exceed customer expectationsEnvironment* Primarily in a Manufacturing facility with split focus between an office environment and production floor.* Periodic work outside core business hours may be required during key business projects* Less than 10% travel.Working at Hearth & Home you can expect these benefits:* Work Today Get Paid Today: You can access your pay when you need it* And more pay Profit Sharing paid quarterly after 1 year of service* Excellent Benefits that start Day 1:* Minimum 3 weeks Paid Time Off (prorated year 1)* Medical, Dental, and Vision, HSA,* Company paid Life Insurance* Company paid short & long-term disability* Tuition Assistance* Paid Holidays* 401k company match at 6%; 100% vested immediately* Stock Purchase Plan Discount* HHT Product DiscountHearth & Home Technologies (HHT) is the Residential Building Products division of HNI Corporation (NYSE: HNI).
