Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for one of our clients, a leading manufacturer of large material handling machinery. This role will involve exciting, cross-functional projects with notable clients, focusing on process improvement, continuous improvement, and some programming tasks. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to innovative, state-of-the-art projects while optimizing manufacturing processes in a dynamic and growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support process improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies, including the use of Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
  • Analyze production data to identify opportunities for process enhancement and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality, to design and implement efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Write and maintain programming scripts for automation and data analysis tasks as needed.
  • Develop and update work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
  • Assist in the selection and implementation of new manufacturing technologies and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and support the resolution of technical challenges during the manufacturing process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in either Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 1 - 2 years' of engineering experience
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban and 5S
