We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for one of our clients, a leading manufacturer of large material handling machinery. This role will involve exciting, cross-functional projects with notable clients, focusing on process improvement, continuous improvement, and some programming tasks. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support process improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies, including the use of Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
- Analyze production data to identify opportunities for process enhancement and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality, to design and implement efficient manufacturing processes.
- Write and maintain programming scripts for automation and data analysis tasks as needed.
- Develop and update work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
- Assist in the selection and implementation of new manufacturing technologies and equipment.
- Troubleshoot production issues and support the resolution of technical challenges during the manufacturing process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in either Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
- At least 1 - 2 years' of engineering experience
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban and 5S
