Summary (Position Description): The Manufacturing Engineer will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and will be responsible for the manufacturing processes within the plants, continuous improvement, facilities layouts, supporting the quality initiatives, while maintaining and support the growth of the organization as necessary. Additionally, this role will be responsible for developing and implementing methods, operation sequences, and processes for the production of Bitzer Associated Products. Act as a technical liaison between the Manufacturing, Design Engineering, and maintenance teams. Manufacturing Engineer will work on process improvements and new product launch. Strong problem-solving skills with an excellent structured approach to root cause analysis
Reports To: Manufacturing Engineering Manager
Status: Full time, Salary Exempt
Duties & Tasks:
• Oversee the production and processing of the product on the manufacturing lines including new product additions
• Work closely with Product Engineering, Manufacturing Teams, Quality and Purchasing to ensure customer order requirements are met while maintaining the standard set by the Bitzer Global examples.
• Root cause analysis investigations. (8D / 5Y)
• Lead assigned continuous improvement efforts and cost reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with peer group to maintain or exceed production expectations.
• Role model employee for compliance to the highest levels of quality, safety, performance, attention to detail, data driven problem solving, planning and organization.
• Communicate with internal team members keeping them aware to the organizational and cultural expectations.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
• Understanding of manufacturing and production processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• HVAC technical skills or knowledge a plus
• Good mechanical intuition
• Willingness to challenge status quo.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact well with people
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to maintain numerous activities personally and within team in a fast-paced environment, while meeting deadlines with frequent interruptions
• Ability to function as a team player within a diverse group and the capacity to work independently under minimal supervision.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 4 years in a manufacturing engineering environment
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or additional 4 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with testing (Mechanical / Electrical) equipment if beneficial
• Knowledge of Electrical control panels, high voltage testing, PLC programming and IPCs are a strong benefit
• Statistical Analysis experience and training
• OSHA Safety Training for Industrial equipment and operations
• Weld Process experience in a production environment is strong benefit.
• Experience in commercial or industrial refrigerant equipment is a plus
Additional:
• Domestic and international travel may be necessary
• Travel may be up to 20% scheduled in advance
• Must have valid US Passport and driver's license
Work Environment:
• This job is performed in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The overall business is a manufacturing environment and at times may have to go into the manufacturing area wear proper PPE is required.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; bend; stoop; use hands; and reach with hands and arms. May be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
