Ensures the engineering, maintenance teams and other manufacturing departments are aligned and working toward shared goals. Responsible for directing the maintenance of equipment to aid in the manufacturing processPosition ResponsibilitiesManages the manufacturing /plant engineering function including planning, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, safety, and quality.Directs the focus of maintenance department, supervises maintenance and process supervisors.3.Manages process and projects to include plastics injection molding, tooling,automated packaging equipment andmaintenance departments. Including estimates of production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for leadership decisions. Investigates and resolves manufacturing problems to optimize product performance while minimizing cost.Directs tool repairs, equipment rebuilds and maintenance of the manufacturing facility.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge and ExperienceRequired5-10 years of manufacturing engineer experience.Strong attention to detail, high-energy, self-starter and quick to learn.Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a team environment.In-depth knowledge of injection molding and/or chemical processing.Strong technical skills and eager to take on challenges.Strong management skills in a manufacturing plant.5 years previous leadership experience in manufacturing environment.Education and Certification:RequiredBachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering or combination of Associate's degree or equivalent plus ten (10) + years of manufacturing and engineering experience.
