This role focuses on improving efficiency, quality, and process documentation for fabrications, assembly, and welding projects.Key Responsibilities:* Develop and refine process work instructions for manufacturing, with an emphasis on sheet assemblies and fusion welding.* Collaborate with shop floor personnel to validate processes, ensuring updates are accurate and effective.* Report project progress in daily tier meetings and maintain active communication with the Lead Engineer.* Identify and implement cost reduction strategies, including tooling updates and process improvements.* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on enhancing both efficiency and product quality.Core Qualifications:* Associate or bachelor s degree in engineering, or equivalent relevant work experience.* 1-5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a preference for candidates experienced in aerospace and fusion welding of aluminum alloys.* Proficiency in creating work instructions, with experience using Solumina preferred.* Familiarity with CAD software (preferably NX) for creating models, drawings, and ops sheets.* U.S. Citizenship required due to the nature of the work.Desired Other Skills:* Familiarity with SAP, Team Center.* Experience with LabView programming is a plus.Apply Today:If you're a motivated Manufacturing Engineer with a focus on fabrication and welding, we encourage you to apply and become part of our dynamic team.Belcan provides a competitive pay and benefits package.
