We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician to join our Power Electronics & Energy Storage manufacturing team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, increase product performance, and enhance manufacturing productivity.
* Collaborate with engineers to develop, test, and validate new manufacturing processes and equipment to ensure efficient production of high-quality products
* Install, qualify, and validate new equipment to meet quality and manufacturing standards
* Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to boost productivity, reduce costs, and enhance quality
* Create and maintain accurate process documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and process flow diagrams
* Troubleshoot manufacturing process issues, collect and analyze data, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
* Train and support manufacturing staff on new processes and equipment
* 3+ years of experience as an engineering technician in an automated/semi-automated high-volume manufacturing environment
* Proficiency in common workplace software (Microsoft Office, Visio, Access, etc.) and utilizing SQL queries to access the database and pull reports
* Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in a technical field, such as Mechanical Engineering or a related field, preferred; or equivalent experience
* Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal, with ability to collaborate across teams
* Familiarity with lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies a plus
