Seeking 2 Manufacturing/Industrial Engineers for positions in the Chambersburg, PA and Hagerstown, MD areas.Each manufacturer is seeking the ME/IE to do the following:--Lead Capital Improvement Projects (handle 3-5 projects at a time)--Be involved in all Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing initiatives (Lead Kaizen events in areas of 5S, TPM, Standard Work, Set-up Reduction/SMED, etc) (Get involved with daily lean activities of improving quality, cost, delivery and safety metrics)--Re-layout work areas/conduct time studies to improve productivity, safety, and quality--Work on reducing inventories and improving turnsDESIRED Skills and Experience:--Companies prefer a 4-year degree in Engineering but would consider a 2-year technical degree or other 4-year degree with relevant experience--Working experience with Lean manufacturing and leading CI projects--Strong communicator with all levels of workers--Prefer individuals with 2-7 years of experience (Pay depends of experience)Targeted Pay for Jobs: 75k-100k (DOE)Apply by clicking below.Please apply below or send resume to TONY at ...@msn.comMetz Strategic Solutions is a Recruiting firm specializing in placing manufacturing, distribution, accounting, HR and Safety talent to organizations in South Central PA, the Mid-Atlantic Area and throughout North America.
