  • Check foot straps for ESD compliance as needed
  • Follows ISO process sheet for the operation.
  • Adheres to all quality and safety guidelines
  • Participate in performance feedback
  • Using tweezers, solder extractor, solder iron, hot air pencil and hot air reflow, will rework printed circuit boards per specifications
  • Must be able to be precise solderer and be very detailed and meticulous
  • Will be knowledgeable of rework aids: solder braid, flux, flux-core solder, solder paste isopropyl alcohol
  • Will keep records in Aegis system, i.e. parts tracking, defect locations and specific issues with the boards
  • Enters scrap information into Aegis and iDashboard
  • Performs visual inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various states of production.
  • May be required to lift bins of assemblies
  • Responsible for inputting fallout data into Aegis
  • Be able to pull up Product documentation in Aegis
  • Be able to interpret customer specifications and requirements
  • Capable of reading blueprints to determine additional customer requirements not identified in process documentation
  • Responsible for primary communication of findings/quality issues to production staff
  • Perform NPI 1st Article Inspection activities
  • Perform in line and end of line auditing
  • Communicate to supervisors' specifics regarding defect findings
  • Work to meet production and quality department goals
  • Cross train in other departments
  • Additional duties as assigned

  • Continuous accurate depth perception, ability to differentiate colors, ability to perceive spoken voice, ability to hear warning signals over 70dB, and comprehensible speech.
  • Occasional exposure to dust, mist, and fumes
  • Continuous inspection of products/objects/materials, analyzing data, simple planning, simple decision making, understand basic written instruction, comprehend verbal language, communication in standard English
  • Frequent counting, addition and subtraction and ability to write
  • Continuous ability to comprehend technical and complex information
  • PPE Required: safety glasses/goggles, ESD smock, ESD heel straps, ESD wrist strap when sitting
Technical
  • Knowledge of quality procedures

  • Previous electronic manufacturing experience preferred
  • Able to read and follow production processes
  • Ability to keep department records as needed
  • Able and willing to cross-train into other production positions which may have different technical or physical requirements
  • Able to successfully complete position certification course (IPC-A-610 Certification)
