Job SummaryThis role is focused on synthesizing intermediates and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) within a kilo lab environment. The position involves receiving daily task assignments and working under moderate supervision as part of a collaborative team, assisting others and fostering a team-oriented atmosphere. All work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards within a laboratory or processing environment.Principal Duties
  • Execute tasks in the Kilo Lab under supervision, including setting up equipment and performing operations such as charging solids/liquids, extractions, filtrations, and drying in a fast-paced setting.
  • Support batch documentation processes essential for the production of APIs.
  • Ensure equipment readiness by assisting with preparation and cleaning in alignment with standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • Perform duties with adherence to strict regulatory guidelines, such as cGMPs, SOPs, and batch records; prior familiarity is advantageous but not required.
  • Follow all safety procedures and demonstrate safe work practices.
  • Apply hands-on skills, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and mechanical aptitude to handle multiple assignments effectively.
  • Job Qualifications
    • Associate degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Basic understanding of applicable regulations.
    • Physical requirements include standing, bending, and lifting up to 55 lbs.
    • Experience working in a laboratory environment.
    • Knowledge of scale-up operations.
    • Ability to acquire new technical skills and concepts.
    • Precise and accurate reporting of technical data.
    • Capability to troubleshoot technical issues.
