Position Summary: This position is responsible for assisting the 3rd Shift dry supervisor in the execution of daily objectives according to the dry manufacturing schedule. The dry manufacturing department activities include but are not limited to monitoring batches, raw material additions, problem-solving, project planning and execution, QC/R&D samples, culture sample testing, safety, and following instructions to create batches.

- Must have current forklift certification through Verdesian.
- Must have good compliance with all PPE requirements and any new changes made to the safety procedures.
- Have good understanding of good housekeeping.
- Must have respirator training completed.
- Filling out paperwork necessary for each job.
- You will be performing basic oracle functions,
- General knowledge of the materials we work with.
- Understanding controls for operation of the blenders. Understanding of how to operate the HMI and how to initiate the afterhours timer.
- Understanding of the dust collector operation. Familiarity with the HMI panel and trained on what to do if the high CO or LEL alarm goes off.
- Training and certification with lock out tag outs and confined space entry.
- Training with working from heights, knowing where the safe zones are and where your tie off points are located. Knowing how to handle hazardous waste and how to properly dispose.
- In oracle, you will be performing basic functions such as partial closes, that is when you complete a pallet you will then go into the system, closeout said pallet for the quantity that is there then you will write down your LPN on your pallet tracking paperwork.
- You will be assisting with training new hires on the basic functions of our process. Such as: showing them how to label a bucket, fill up the buckets, what information to verify when filling out the hourly paperwork, how to operate the Hammer mill, Ribbon blender, and Eirich blender.
- Trouble shooting and problem solving with all equipment.
- Keep employees on track, making sure everyone is on task.
- Filling out inventory adjustments.
- Making sure batch records contain the correct information as well as making sure employees are also filling out paperwork correctly.
- Final closing all finished good jobs and turning them in within a timely matter.
- Managing PPE by making sure all employees are compliant with rules and regulations.
- Report employees that are showing significant improvement, dedication, and the want to work. Also, the reporting of employees that are not compliant, not wanting to learn, ect.
- Manage raw materials, report any shortages to supervisor.
- Trained on how to submit a maintenance work order.
- Fill in for shift supervisor if he/she is not available, Attend production meetings, and update SQDIP/WIP.

Qualifications:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Must have 2 years of production experience.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to work without continuous supervision.
- Must be able to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
- Read and write English.
- Basic math calculations. (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.)
