Manufacturing Machine Operator

Job Description:

• Operate WaterJet and Laser Jet cutting machines to cut shapes according toproduction specifications and schedules.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determinemachine setup and operational requirements.
• Perform machine setup, including loading materials, adjusting settings, andcalibrating equipment for optimal performance.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and consistency of cuts and makingadjustments as necessary.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure properfunctionality and minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, using precision measuringinstruments.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols andguidelines.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow andproduction targets are met.
• Document production activities, including material usage, machine settings, andinspection results.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience with WaterJet or CNC water cutting machines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Basic computer skills for machine operation and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Standing for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Machine operator experience

Job Details:

• 1st Shift - Monday - Thursday - 6 AM - 4 PM
• $17 - 18/hr
