Make it your story.This is a position with grade17This position reports toProduction SupervisorYour role and responsibilitiesAssembles various components, sub-assemblies, and printed circuit boards into a variety of electrical and mechanical products. Sets up and operates machinery, including lathe and drill press for the production or modification of floats. Assembles components to make floats. May schedules and issue work. Applies decals to tubes, nameplates ID plates and performs any rework necessary. Reviews and acts on parts requirements, inventory status, secures a variety of company parts and materials. Qualifications for the role
  • Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with production schedules, work orders, assembly, bills of materials, shipping/receiving data, troubleshooting and production solutions.
  • Experience reading blueprints, wiring diagrams; ability to use shop mathematics in the interpolation of data; skill in the use of standard and special hand tools.
  • Experience using gauging equipment (micrometer, calipers, verniers, gauges, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and as a team to establish priorities to meet production.
  • 3+ years' experience as a machinist
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
