Position Summary & Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Technician 3 is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of manufacturing equipment at our facility. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and autonomy with a focus on complex troubleshooting, repairs, continuous improvement, and mentoring.

* Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on sophisticated manufacturing equipment

* Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and automated systems independently

* Contribute to root-cause analysis efforts to prevent recurring equipment issues

* Mentor and provide technical guidance to entry-level technicians

* Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency

* Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FDA regulations, GMP, ISO standards, and safety protocols

* Utilize and maintain accurate records in computerized maintenance management systems

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime

Education, Skills, & Experience:

* High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing of mechanical and electrical systems

* Associate's Degree and 2 years of experience in electrical and mechanical, high-speed manufacturing maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems also accepted

* Experience in electrical maintenance is preferred

* Experience working in a cGMP/Regulated environment desired.

* Able to read ladder logic and troubleshoot/repair PLC's, electrical systems, AC/DC drive systems, and mechanical systems desired.

* Proficiency in machining, welding, and fabricating a plus.

* Strong attention to detail and GMP experience (including knowledge of change control, validation, and commissioning processes) desired.

* Adheres to documentation requirements in a cGMP compliant manner in accordance with applicable Quality Policies.

* Competent in the use of computers and Microsoft Office tools (Word & Excel).
