Also a minimum of five years experience in industrial maintenance is required.CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Department of Defense SECRET security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a SECRET clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.Responsibilities for this PositionNOTE: Pay Rate from $30.49 to $37.70 commensurate with your education and related experienceSUMMARYSelf-directed technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide variety of manufacturing equipment/systems to support manufacturing operations. Apply advanced theories and fundamentals of computers, programmable logic controllers (PLC), discrete controllers, electronics, electrical systems, electrical distribution, electromechanical systems, electro-optical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulicsPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Interpret, understand, and work from complex manufacturers documents such as electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics and mechanical drawingsPerform preventive maintenance and verificationsTroubleshoot and repair equipment problems to keep downtime at acceptable levelsAccurately document maintenance activity using Company status and tracking systemsOrder, manage, and maintain maintenance materials, supplies, and toolsSupport other technician areas and production based upon business needsJOB ENTRY REQUIREMENTSAssociate degree in Industrial Systems Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, or equivalent educationMinimum of five years experience in industrial maintenancePassing score on an Instrument Technician TestPassing score on a Maintenance Electrician TestQualification assessment interviewUS Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret level clearanceEffective written and oral communication skillsWORK ENVIRONMENTThe working environment is a manufacturing environment for electro-optical-mechanical products.
