Job Type Full-time Description Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Manufacturing Manager to oversee and direct our Hot Melt manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing production processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring high-quality products while maintaining a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Production Planning and Control: Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and procedures to meet customer demand and business objectives.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency gains.
- Quality Management: Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
- Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of production staff, including supervisors, lead operators and operators.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all housekeeping, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and inventory management teams.
- Spending and Cost: Control: Manage departmental spending, reduce costs, and improve profitability.
- Communication: Liaise with other departments, customers, and external partners.
Requirements Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing management
- Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control, and safety regulations and requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems
- Batch Manufacturing
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards
- Bilingual English / Spanish
