Our client in East Hanover, NJ is hiring a new Manufacturing Operations Engineer at their facility.Job Description:- Provide technical support and guidance for improving the financial performance of existing programs and developing standards for new programs- Analyze existing processes using data and present proposals on improvements- Implementation and verification of acceptance of proposed improvements- Work with cost accountants to understand opportunities for improvement to the process which will lead to improved financial performance - Work with cost estimator and sales teams to develop standard cost for new programs- Provide Engineering skills and services to continually improve the productivity and quality of all departments within the Company - Have a proven track record of success in a high-volume precision metal stamping environment and be passionate about driving continuous improvement and innovation- Work with finance to identify cost savings opportunities and implement cost improvement projectsJob RequirementsJob Requirements:- BS degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Business Operations, or equivalent- 2-5 years experience in a medium/high volume manufacturing environment- Plastic Injection/Insert Molding and/or Progressive Stamping Experience- Must have the ability to interact effectively with all departments company-wide- ISO/QS knowledge
