Job Description:
Global Manufacturing company seeks veteran talent to fill logistics, and manufacturing roles. Training will be provided to all Military candidates.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:Material and logistics:- Deliver the right material, to the right location, at the right time while adhering to good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures- Perform routine material operations activities across the facility including receiving, sampling, warehousing, material cleaning, kitting and delivery- Coordinate, pack, and ship materials to both domestic and international markets, including hazardous materials- Complete standard forms and/or records, author procedures and support process investigations- Document transactions of inventoried materials and their movements to ensure compliance and inventory accuracy- Interact effectively with Materials Operations Staff, Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Manufacturing- Regular interaction with external contractors such as transportation drivers- Operate in a warehouse environment and gown into GMP clean room areas- Don Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by procedures and signage- May come in contact with hazardous material requiring additional PPE, including respiratory protection (employee must be physically able to wear a respirator)- Operate motor vehicles including, 24 ft box trucks, forklifts, and other motorized material handling equipment- Perform material picking activities at heights of up to 25 ft with required fall protection equipment- Perform activities as physical job, where employee may have to lift as much as 50 pounds and regularly bend reach and walkManufacturing operations- Performing all unit operations and support operations described in standard operating procedures and records- Completing documentation required by process protocols, and standard operating procedures- Performing tasks in a manner consistent with the safety policies, quality systems, and requirements- Completing training assignments to ensure the necessary technical skills and knowledge.- Assisting in setting up manufacturing areas and equipment/fixtures. Perform facility and equipment commissioning activities - Meet all physical requirements: ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, move head and neck, twist several times throughout the day and carry up to 50lbs several times a day- Perform activities as physical job, where employee may have to lift as much as 50 pounds and regularly bend reach and walk- Repetitive use - required repetitive use of arms/wrists/hands while setting up equipment and processing several times a day, throughout the day. - Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and other clean room garments daily- This may include, but not limited to: safety shoes, safety glasses, aprons, face shields, lab coats, full body gowns, hairnets, gloves, and hearing protectionManufacturing compliance specialist - Identifies, manages, and owns Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions (CAPA) - Supports internal / external audits following the annual site plan with respective reports and action items from areas impacted during the audit- Generates, reviews, and implements departmental procedures and forms to assure compliance with current practices, GMPs, or trends- The ability to review and approve change controls as the manufacturing compliance representative- The ability to work as the functional area approver and reviewer- Maintain CAPA databases and Investigations and prepare trend reports- Lead and train manufacturing teams to review manufacturing batch records, testing data, SOPs, deviationschange controls, and corrective and preventative action (CAPA)- Ensures the site has an internal audit program and that all system audits are conducted at a specified frequency5K sign on bonus to assist with relocation costs, overtime, PTO, and benefits are available.
