Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Manufacturing Planner/Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules, ensuring optimal resource utilization, managing 3rd party outsourcing schedules, and coordinating with various departments to meet manufacturing goals. Your ability to manage time-sensitive tasks and adapt to changing priorities will be essential to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on the master production schedule, target inventory levels, and capacity constraints.

* Collaborate with production and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.

* Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing priorities or unforeseen challenges.

* Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements to processes and workflows.

* Maintain accurate records of production schedules, changes, and other relevant documentation.

* Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on scheduling and production status.

* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.

Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent; degree in manufacturing, business, or related field a plus.

* Previous experience in manufacturing planning or scheduling is a plus.

* Strong organizational and time-management skills.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with scheduling software (e.g., ERP systems) is a plus.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing conditions.

* Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
