Title: Industrial Process Engineer
Location: Douglassville, PA 19518
Schedule: On-site, Monday-Friday approx. 8am-5pm
Salary: $110k - $120k (some flexibility)
Benefits: Medical, Vision, 401k match is 3% match for 6% contribution, negotiable PTO starting at 3 weeks
Selling Points: The ability to grow out the team and really shape the function how you want to, direct exposure to the executive leadership. This is the first hire of this kind at the company, so you'd be blazing the trail.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Design, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain product quality.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process optimization methodologies.
- Identify areas for waste reduction and cost savings through root cause analysis and performance evaluations.
- Monitor and assess production workflows, equipment, and performance metrics to meet output goals.
- Lead capital projects, including process redesign, automation, and the introduction of new production technologies.
- Create and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and training materials for manufacturing teams.
- Conduct data analysis to support decisions for process improvements, machine optimization, and workforce allocation.
- Assist in troubleshooting production issues, including mechanical failures, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards (e.g., OSHA, GMPs, FDA guidelines).
- Evaluate production line capacity and recommend enhancements to improve throughput and minimize downtime.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field.
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Process Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or related role in a manufacturing environment (preferably in CPG, food & beverage, or similar industries).
- Strong knowledge of process optimization techniques, including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher preferred), and value stream mapping.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment, process control systems, and automation technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and improve production processes effectively.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in manufacturing (OSHA, FDA, GMPs, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
