All applicants must be authorized to work for any US employer.)Responsibilities for manufacturing process engineer :Responsible for driving improvement projects throughout value stream to achieve or exceed budgeted goalsWrites procedures, investigates, establish protocols, reports change controls to support client programsRequires working knowledge of engineering principles and practices that can be applied to a broad variety of assignments in related fields, the ability to develop and apply creative technical solutions to complex problems, and work with manufacturing automation engineer, product engineering, production, and quality assurance staff to develop requirements and recommendations for large and somewhat complex processes and systemsPlan, conduct, or coordinate relatively straight-forward engineering analyses & testsProvide day to day production support where neededCreate modify and manage bills of materialsProvide technical leadership and ownership of assigned unit operationsManage change control for assigned projectsIdentify and initiate process improvements in conjunction with the Product Engineering teamWork with production, automation and project engineering groups on process improvement projectsQualifications for manufacturing process engineer :Strong equipment and mechanical knowledgeGood interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills, with ability to make and implement decisionsMotivated to work on own initiative with results-oriented attitudeKnowledge of CNC controlled equipmentSolidWorks /AutoCAD experience whilst not essential would be an advantageMust be a team player with good communication skills, written and verbalDevelop and submit justification for capital equipment projects to support areas within manufacturing related to above mentioned products and processesDemonstrated exposure to and application of a variety of lean and Six Sigma tools (value stream mapping, 5S, flow, pull)BS in science/engineering requiredMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or other Engineering field of study1 -3 years experienceProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Project)Other DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
