( Supervise personnel and activities on assigned shift to ensure timely production of quality products in a safe manner.**Responsibilities**1. Responsible for achieving safety, quality, and productivity goals on the shift2. Supervise production activities and provide direction and support shift3. Enforce Company policies, safety standards, quality, GMP's and ISO procedures4. Address employee concerns, resolve problems, train, coach and discipline employees5. Responsible for accurate production reporting (Mattec/WebEFF) and timekeeping6. Drive improvements in production efficiency and MEEF7. Direct work assignments and ensure efficient labor utilization8. Other duties as assigned9. Accepts responsibility to comply with all safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF and any other regulatory requirements. And has the authority to report concerns that could impact these requirements or suggest areas for improvement**Qualifications**1. HS Diploma or equivalent combination of education/experience. Some college preferred2. 3+ years experience in leadership position with proven ability to deliver desired results3. Must have strong interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to motivate employees4. Strong technical, business, and organizational skills5. Able to plan and organize daily activities, analyze data and react to changes and challenges in the business6. Knowledge of operations and company procedures7. Able to communicate effectively both written and verbal8. Good software skills (Word, Excel, WebEFF, etc.)9. Capable of physical mobility including walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing, pushing, pulling and lifting (up to 50 pounds periodically w/ lift assist device)10. Capable of visual acuity to include distinguishing color variation and detecting defects11. Able to work safely in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms12.
