Utz Quality Foods is seeking a Manufacturing Project Coordinator in Hanover, PA. The Manufacturing Project Coordinator is responsible for planning, executing, and closing key projects across the manufacturing network. Coordinates the completion of projects on time, within budget and scope. This individual will assist with the development and implementation of the manufacturing project management program. Provides timely updates to key stakeholders on project status and health.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Manufacturing Project Manager with the development, implementation, and deployment of project management across the manufacturing network
* Lead key manufacturing projects to successful completion, including the report out and capture of value creation opportunities
* Support the team's development of project plans, timelines, and budgets for transformation projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and resource constraints
* Communicate and align key resources at all levels of the organization on assigned projects
* Report out key project management metrics to various functions and levels, including escalation as needed to senior management
* Exercise fundamental, sound project management techniques and workflow process when executing assigned projects
* Responsible for facilitating processes needed for plant level execution, including commercialization activities and change management.
* Support training events on project management
* Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on project status, solicit feedback, and address concerns
Requirements
* Bachelors' Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field preferred
* Proven track record of successful project execution
* PMP Certification a plus
* Willingness to travel for training or system support across the organization, up to 25%.
* Flexible availability to support multi-shift operations.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and other database software.
* Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize effectively.
* Effective at motivating and training others.
* Eagerness to take on new challenges and grow professionally.
* Demonstrates willingness and ability to learn and adapt.
* Patience, persistence, and confidence in taking responsibility.
