This company is a full-service provider to help manufacturing companies of all types face these challenges. They are currently looking for a Manufacturing Project Manager in their Milwaukee, WI location. This Manufacturing Project Manager works closely with the contract fabrication suppliers and other sub-contractors, the operations team, and the engineering and design groups to execute the manufacturing, assembly, and shipment of equipment.You will manage projects in their shops, identify and negotiate cost, quality, and delivery, ensure clear direction on drawings and shop expectations, and take an active role in making sure they are building to their standards and best practices across our fabrication supply chain.Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Liaison between shops and company engineering and design groups for best manufacturing practices- First responder to fabrication subcontractors' questions on print, fabrication methods, and manufacturability; drive resolution through a documented deviation process- Source the fabrication of new equipment builds and aftermarket orders through capacity and cost analysis- Coordinate the execution of equipment build schedules with fabrication shops and all sub-suppliers- Identify and execute documentable and sustainable cost savings with the fabrication suppliers, these can be based on process, materials, design, and/or supplier improvements, and economic order quantities of standard manufactured parts- Investigate and vet new fabrication shops and other sub-suppliers as needed- Coordinate and source the logistics of shipping equipment to customer sitesBase salary, benefits, a potential bonus and a 401k.
