Manufacturing Project Manager
We are seeking a highly organized and driven Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful execution of projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and delivering outstanding customer satisfaction. In this role, you will plan, allocate resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Functions
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules and work plans.
- Establish deadlines, track milestones, and monitor overall progress to ensure project success.
- Define and manage resources to achieve objectives efficiently.
- Track project costs to ensure adherence to established budgets.
- Provide regular project updates to internal stakeholders and weekly reports to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and budget.
- Deliver bi-weekly reports to external customers, maintaining transparency and accountability.
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers to meet project goals and requirements.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to address project needs.
- Prepare and process change orders for project adjustments.
- Release engineering documentation into the company's procurement system.
- Analyze project performance to identify and implement improvements.
Qualifications
- **Significant experience in automation within a manufacturing environment is required.**
- Proficient in design specifications, risk assessments, and technical writing.
- Experience with parametric modeling tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Inventor).
- Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
- Exceptional planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of professional integrity, drive, and a results-oriented attitude.
- Expertise in MS Office tools, including Microsoft Project.
- Strong negotiation skills to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management; automation experience is a plus.
