Overview:

We are seeking a Project Planner/Scheduler to ensure the seamless execution of various projects. Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will coordinate cross-departmental efforts, manage project timelines, and optimize resource allocation. The ideal candidate possesses technical expertise, project management experience, and a strong analytical mindset to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering, product design, and operations to define project requirements.
• Develop innovative strategies for efficiency improvements.
• Regularly communicate project plans and updates to stakeholders.
• Utilize data analysis to optimize resources and streamline processes.
• Conduct analytical experiments to resolve project issues.
• Integrate structured and unstructured data for enhanced planning.
• Implement algorithms to predict timelines and ensure data accuracy.
• Monitor project progress, focusing on cost control and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data analysis and process improvement in manufacturing.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex data effectively.
• Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the railway or manufacturing sector is a plus.
