Job OverviewThis position will focus on gathering requirements, work with quality professionals to develop product tests, and deploying an Advantive (Infinity QS) system across multiple sites. Responsibilities include application development, analyzing and troubleshooting system related issues, providing system support, and data integration. This is a hands on role that will require frequent technical interaction with applications and database.
Job Responsibilities - Design and develop standardized Infinity QS (Proficient) solution.
- Work with multiple groups to create a standardized business process.
- Work with plant Quality and Operations on a daily basis to solve issues.
- Development of reports as required by the business.
- Ability to rapidly gain and apply knowledge of GLC manufacturing processes.
- Proactively monitor quality systems to ensure maximum system uptime.
- Lead new deployments of Infinity QS to multiple GLC Manufacturing locations.
- Integrate lab equipment brands such as Foss, Charm, and Mocon.
- All GLC employees are expected to perform any assignment or job task according to the stated safety policies and procedures.
- All GLC employees are expected to produce and promote our products and services in a manner that exceeds the quality and value expectation of our customers and consumers by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in our Safe Quality Food Program.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
Required Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, related of field study, OR 5 years' experience in a related field.
- Basic understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Basic understanding of networking.
- Knowledge of MS SQL
- Basic understanding of SPC
- Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills
- Self-starter, curious, and inquisitive
- Ability to work in both office and production settings
- Ability to provide 24/7 support on an on-call basis
Preferred Education and Experience - Experience with data integration between Infinity QS and shop floor systems
- Experience with LIMS integration
- Experience with SAP QM
- Knowledge of remote desktop & ThinManager
- Knowledge of ISO 9001
- Knowledge of GMPs
- Practical knowledge of S95 ISA Standards
- Experience implementing quality system from concept to completion.
Working Conditions• Work is mainly performed in an office setting, with some time spent in a manufacturing environment
