Job Description Manufacturing Quality Assurance 1801 Theurer Blvd, Winona, MN 55987 MN180 Manufacturing Facility Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:30am - 4:30pm OVERVIEW: Working as Full-time Manufacturing Quality Assurance, you will support the facility by working closely with all departments to promote the production of conforming products and assist in the continuous improvement of the quality management system. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: oPerforming internal audits oAssisting with the control of quality management system documentation oCommunicating key performance indicators to management oCoordinating quality related information for monthly reporting oCommunicating with customers to resolve issues in a timely manner oWorking closely with production to identify root causes and implement corrective actions oImproving key performance metrics such as on-time delivery and non-conformance rate REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: oPossess at least 1 year of manufacturing, quality, engineering or industrial sales work experience oExcellent written and oral communication skills oProficient computer skills oHighly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented o Demonstrate strong attention to detail and sense of urgency oDemonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities oExhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment o Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs oPass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: oPrior work experience in inspection tools and equipment oExperience reading blueprints oExperience working in an ISO 9001 or TS 16949 environment ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
