Job Details
  • Implement and maintain our quality system in line with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 13485 standards.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for external quality audits and customer-specific requirements.
  • Lead internal audits, coordinate corrective actions, and support supplier, customer, and registrar audits.
  • Develop and manage quality reports, corrective action databases, and document control systems.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Tooling teams to create FMEAs, Process Flow Charts, and Inspection Control Plans.
  • Interpret blueprints and specifications related to geometric tolerancing, gauging, and statistical requirements.
  • Design inspection plans and methods, including fixture and gage design, and program Vision/CMM systems.
  • Interface with customers, sales, and engineering to resolve quality issues and analyze customer complaints as part of the 8D team.
  • Train inspectors in quality methods, statistics, GD&T, Vision Systems, and CMMs.
  • Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 4 years of experience in Quality Control/Assurance within the automotive and medical industries.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Proficient in FMEA, Process Flows, Control Plans, and quality system requirements.
  • Knowledge of MIL-STD-45208A, MIL-STD-45662, MILQ9858A, ISO 9000, ISO/TS 16949, and ISO 13485.
  • Experience with metals or resins inspection.
  • Skilled in blueprint interpretation, GD&T, and statistics.
  • Proficient in Vision and CMM systems, data collection software, statistical software, and MS Office Suite.
