DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for a talented Manufacturing Shop Operations Team Manager to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Rocky Mount, NC office.Job Summary:Supervises the daily activities of a production unit or teams.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Builds Effective Teams: Create teams with strong identities that leverage diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals. Recognizes and appreciates the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to the organization.Collaborates: Build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.Communicates Effectively: Develop and deliver communications that clearly convey understanding of different audiences' needs.Decision Quality: Make good and timely decisions to keep the organization moving forward.Develops Talent: Develop people to meet both their career goals and the organization's goals.Directs Work: Provide direction, delegate tasks, and remove obstacles to get work done.Drives Engagement: Create a motivating environment where people are inspired to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives.Drives Results: Consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances.RESPONSIBILITIESTo be successful in this role, you will need the following:Team Management: Effectively manage the daily activities of the production team, including overseeing team members and maintaining housekeeping standards.Production Targets: Ensure the team meets production goals and targets consistently.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with other departments to recommend and implement improvements in safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency.Project Leadership: Serve as the group lead on various projects and work assignments.Guidance and Feedback: Provide clear guidance and constructive feedback to team members to help them accomplish tasks and achieve goals.Expectation Setting: Set clear expectations and clarify responsibilities for team members.Coaching and Mentoring: Coach and mentor team members to develop their skills and capabilities.Continuous Improvement: Engage in continuous improvement activities to enhance overall operations.Education, Licenses, Certifications:College, university or equivalent degree required, or equivalent experience required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.Experience:Supervisory experience preferred.QUALIFICATIONSPrevious management experience preferred. Have high volume, fast pace production and weekend schedules. Communicator and coach, mentor to team members in a Team Base atmosphere.Compensation and BenefitsPlease note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range.
