Job DescriptionWe are looking for a talented Manufacturing Shop Operations Team Manager to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Engine Business unit in Jamestown, NY.Job Summary:Supervises the daily activities of a production unit or teams.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Enhance team productivity by effectively managing daily activities and meeting production targets.
- Improve safety standards through diligent housekeeping and adherence to safety protocols.
- Boost operational efficiency by working cross-functionally to implement process improvements.

- Ensure high-quality output by maintaining strict quality control measures and continuous improvement initiatives.

Education, Licenses, Certifications: College, university or equivalent degree required, or equivalent experience required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience: Supervisory experience preferred.Qualifications
- Intermediate level (3 to 5 years) of supervisory experience required.
- Previous Management experience in a Manufacturing setting, preferred.
- Develop and coach support team (ATL/Safety/Quality support) to lead line team.
Drive results (KPIs)- Ensuring the team meets daily Production Goals/Quality Metrics/Safety Standards.Ensure teamwork within a large production team (60+ Operators). Strong drive to motivate and foster open and honest communication within the team.
- Willingness to work hands-on with the team and lead by example.
