Job DescriptionJob Summary:The Manufacturing Shop Operations Team Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily performance of production associates in an assembly manufacturing environment. This role involves engaging in effective problem-solving techniques to drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and performance metrics. The manager will conduct mid-year and full-year talent reviews for direct reports, ensuring that team members are supported in their professional development. Strong communication skills are essential, as the manager will interact regularly with peers, leaders, and direct reports to foster a collaborative and productive work atmosphere.In this role you will make an impact in the following ways:
  • Manage daily activities of the production team, ensuring adherence to production schedules and targets.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Serve as the group lead on various projects and work assignments, driving team engagement and accountability.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and feedback to team members, helping them to accomplish tasks and meet performance goals.
  • Set clear expectations and clarify roles and responsibilities within the team.
  • Coach and mentor team members to enhance their skills and professional development.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience: Supervisory experience preferred.
