Our client is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee our production operations in Connecticut.   • Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, and mentor a team of production staff to meet daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing goals.
  • Production Management: Plan, coordinate, and monitor workflow, ensuring production schedules and quality standards are met.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to all quality standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements specific to the aerospace industry.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resources.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, conducting regular training and audits to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Communication: Act as the primary liaison between production teams, engineering, quality assurance, and management, providing clear and timely updates.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to analyze productivity and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve production issues, including equipment malfunctions, supply chain disruptions, and workforce challenges.ProfileQualifications:
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Experience:
      • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry.
      • Proven expertise in managing production teams and meeting operational goals.
      • Technical Skills:
        • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
        • Proficiency in ERP systems and production scheduling tools.
        • Knowledge of aerospace industry standards such as AS9100 and FAA regulations.
        • Soft Skills:
          • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
          • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
          • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
