Saxon Aerospace is currently hiring a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor for a growing manufacturing company in the greater Los Angeles area.

As the Manufacturing Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the team in all phases of machine shop operations including production, quality control, maintenance, receiving and shipping, engineering, purchasing, and finance.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to meet quality and on-time delivery requirements from the customer.
• Coordinate the hiring and training of manufacturing personnel.
• Maintain and continuously foster a safe and rewarding working environment and procedures, including timely communication initiatives.
• Increase productivity by implementing improved processes and procedures to ease the manufacturing of goods and eliminate waste.
• Provide a clear sense of direction and focus.
• Monitor operations and implement/follow the required performance KPI's
• Create and enable an environment where employees will have opportunities for personal development and growth.
• Review the performance of subordinates and take appropriate corrective measures when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years' experience supervising or managing manufacturing operations/machine shop operations
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing processes
• Experience creating and improving shop schedules

Salary: $80,000-$110,000
