Job Overview
The Welding/Fabrication Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely, and managing a team of 20-50 employees
This role is critical in maintaining a commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and quality in custom ambulance production
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee welding and fabrication activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Coordinate and supervise employees to meet production schedules and objectives
- Review and interpret blueprints and specifications for welding requirements
- Perform quality control checks on welding work
- Manage inventory of welding consumables and equipment
- Maintain accurate records and produce reports as needed
- Provide training, support, and guidance to department personnel
- Evaluate employee performance and recommend personnel actions
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of people management and development experience[query]
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in welding processes and fabrication techniques
- Ability to read and interpret welding processes according to industry standards
