Manufacturing Technician II - Second Shift
Location: University Research Park, Madison, WI
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday - Thursday, 2:45 PM - 12:45 AM
Sign-On Bonus: $1,500 after 90 days

What You'll Do:
- Take ownership of product assembly processes, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Analyze labor variances and implement corrective actions.
- Address production non-conformances promptly and recommend process improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and develop innovative solutions.
- Create and update process documentation, deviations, and work instructions.
- Apply 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles to daily tasks.
- Collaborate with the Lean Manufacturing Team and production leadership on process enhancements.
- Assist in designing and recommending process-related tooling.
- Perform other duties as needed to support production goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Associate's Degree in Electronics, Process, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing, including soldering (SMT and Thru-Hole), testing, repair, and programming.
- Familiarity with IPC Workmanship Standards and ISO Quality Standards (preferred).
- CAD (electrical/mechanical) design experience a plus.
- Commitment to safe production practices and adherence to ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) guidelines.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
