**Your Impact**

_Here's where you'll demonstrate your proficiencies:_

This position involves assisting the process engineering group with quality and process improvements at the production cells. The associate will use basic mechanical and electrical tools to develop solutions for production cells. Associate will be required to read, interpret and trouble shoot engineering drawings and equipment used in the assembly cells.

+ Investigate and trouble shoot mechanical assemblies and basic electronic/electrical machines and fixtures.

+ Assist the production cells with queries related to product being built and associated BOM's and drawings, to maintain OTD

+ Perform basic repairs on the equipment and fixtures used in the production cell.

+ Assists the manufacturing engineers with implementation of projects.

+ Assist in troubleshooting DPM related issues and implementation of corrective action.

+ Assists in the development of new methods, tooling, test systems, and machine designs that reduce cycle time and improve productivity and quality.

+ Performs duties in accordance with established quality standards.

+ Actively support Health, Safety and Environmental rules and regulations.

+ Performs such similar, comparable or related duties as may be required.

**Qualifications - External**

_The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:_

+ Bachelor's degree or Associates Degree in Mechanical related field

+ Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

+ Demonstrated analytical/statistical problem-solving skills.

+ Proficient in reading, interpreting assembly drawings.

+ Hands-on mechanical and electrical ability, solving tool and equipment challenges.

+ Process improvement and knowledge of process control is essential.

+ Familiarity and an advocate of FBS (LEAN) principles.

+ Ability to integrate and work well in a team environment.

+ Ability to provide positive, consistent communication with associates throughout the organization.

+ Must be able to work comfortably with the Microsoft Office suite of tools, Lab View, custom Test & calibration software along with production control and management software.

+ Able to read, follow and suggest improvements to production work instructions.

+ Ability to read and follow engineering schematics and drawings

+ Ability to focus, prioritize, multitask, cope with change

+ Self Starter and sense of urgency

+ Able to perform accurate and detail orientated work with minimal guidance

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 45,700.00 - 84,800.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
