About The RoleSeegrid currently has an opening for a Manufacturing Technician. The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for the assembly, testing and troubleshooting of various electrical/mechanical assembliesResponsibilities Include:
- Integrate components to industrial trucks and verify operation to specifications
- Assemble, test and calibrate electronic components for manufacturing
- Assemble and verify engineering changes and prototypes
- Assist with set up and maintenance of assembly, test systems and processes
- Calibrate and maintain calibration and test equipment used in manufacturing
- Document work activities and results
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with PCB assembly and testing
- Ability to read and follow assembly and test instructions and procedures
- Ability to perform light and heavy mechanical and electrical assemblies
- Understanding operations and assembly of electrical (AC and DC) systems
- Knowledge of cables, harnesses' fabrication and system's wiring
- Knowledge of electronic, electrical and mechanical components and functionality
- Current driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include shift work, overtime and possibly weekend work.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Two year technical degree or 5-6 years' experience in manufacturing environment
- Strong work ethic
- Flexible and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
- Hands on, quality conscious and customer focused
- Computer literate
- Soldering certification to IPC standards preferred
- Experience configuring electromechanical systems, to include loading of software/firmware, preferred
