About The RoleSeegrid currently has an opening for a Manufacturing Technician. The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for the assembly, testing and troubleshooting of various electrical/mechanical assembliesResponsibilities Include:
  • Integrate components to industrial trucks and verify operation to specifications
  • Assemble, test and calibrate electronic components for manufacturing
  • Assemble and verify engineering changes and prototypes
  • Assist with set up and maintenance of assembly, test systems and processes
  • Calibrate and maintain calibration and test equipment used in manufacturing
  • Document work activities and results
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience with PCB assembly and testing
  • Ability to read and follow assembly and test instructions and procedures
  • Ability to perform light and heavy mechanical and electrical assemblies
  • Understanding operations and assembly of electrical (AC and DC) systems
  • Knowledge of cables, harnesses' fabrication and system's wiring
  • Knowledge of electronic, electrical and mechanical components and functionality
  • Current driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include shift work, overtime and possibly weekend work.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Two year technical degree or 5-6 years' experience in manufacturing environment
  • Strong work ethic
  • Flexible and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
  • Hands on, quality conscious and customer focused
  • Computer literate
  • Soldering certification to IPC standards preferred
  • Experience configuring electromechanical systems, to include loading of software/firmware, preferred
  • Ability to travel occasionally (
