An aerospace client is looking for a Manufacturing Test Technician who will set up test apparatus and conducts tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences Location: Ronkonkoma, NY 11779 Position: Manufacturing Test Technician Pay Rate: $25/hr. - $31.93/hr. on W2 (DOE) Duration: 6 months or longer Schedule: 9/80 1st shift Responsibilities:
- Set up test apparatus and conducts tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.
- Lay out and assembles units for production equipment according to designs and specifications. Adjusts and calibrates systems as needed.
- Modify equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and sketches.
- Correct malfunctions by adjusting or replacing parts or components as directed. Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties.
- May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years' experience in production or manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and sketches.
