Location: Marietta OHCompany: Hi VacAs the Manufacturing Training Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the manufacturing and operations teams. You'll be the driving force behind our training programs, ensuring our staff are skilled, productive, and continuously improving. This is an opportunity to make a real impact by aligning our training initiatives with company goals andfostering a culture of excellence.What You'll Do:Develop Impactful Training ProgramsCraft comprehensive training programs for new hires, current employees, and customers/end-users of equipment.Create engaging training materials, including manuals, guides, e-learning modules, and instructional videos.Integrate the latest industry best practices and technologies into our training programs.Deliver Engaging Training SessionsConduct training sessions through classroom instruction, hands-on workshops, and online courses.Collaborate with subject matter experts to provide specialized training.Ensure each session is interactive, informative, and effective.Assess and Analyze Training NeedsIdentify training needs through surveys, interviews, observations, and performance data.Address skills gaps and develop strategies for improvement.Work with management to prioritize training based on business goals.Evaluate Training EffectivenessMeasure the success of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.Continuously improve training programs based on analysis and feedback.Report outcomes and impacts to senior management.Ensure Compliance and SafetyAlign all training programs with industry regulations and company policies, especially regarding safety and quality.Develop and deliver safety training to promote a secure work environment.Promote Continuous ImprovementFoster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and adopting best practices.Stay updated on new manufacturing technologies and training methodologies.Lead initiatives to enhance training processes and workforce capabilities.Lead and Develop Your TeamSupervise and mentor training staff, supporting their professional growth.Collaborate with HR and departmental managers to support employee development and career progression.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Education, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in training and development are a plus.Experience: At least 5 years in a manufacturing environment with 3+ years in a training or supervisory role.Skills:In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to design effective training programs and materials.Proficiency with training software and tools.Strong analytical skills for assessing training needs and evaluating effectiveness.Leadership and team management capabilities.Certifications: CPLP, OSHA training certification, or other relevant certifications are advantageous.Working ConditionsPrimarily based in a manufacturing environment, balancing office and production floor activities.Occasional travel to different manufacturing sites for training delivery and assessment.Adherence to all safety protocols and appropriate use of PPE.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Improvement in employee skills and productivity.Reduction in training-related incidents and safety violations.Positive feedback from trainees and management.Successful implementation of training programs within budget and timelines.Plexus is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer including Disabled/Vets
