White Hall Pay Grade:Job Description:The Robert Reich School of Landscape Architecture seeks a prominent and dynamic individual to fill the Professional in Residence, Marie M. Bickham Endowed Chair for the academic year 2025-2026. While in Residence, the Bickham Chair participates in a studio, conducts a workshop or seminar, and presents a public lecture. The final assignments of the Chair and the terms of residency are developed in collaboration with the Director of the School of Landscape Architecture and the Dean of the College of Art + Design. Be prepared to participate fully in the daily activities of the School of Landscape Architecture and the College of Art + Design. The Bickham Chair will promote teaching, scholarship, service, and engagement excellence.Job Responsibilities
  • While in Residence, the Bickham Chair participates in a studio, conducts a workshop or seminar, and presents a public lecture. The final assignments of the Chair and the terms of residency are developed in collaboration with the Director of the School of Landscape Architecture and the Dean of the College of Art + Design. Be prepared to participate fully in the daily life of the School of Landscape Architecture and the College of Art + Design. Promotes excellence in teaching, scholarship, service, and engagement.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree in landscape architecture or a related field.
  • 8 - 10 years experience
  • Significant national or international reputation. Significant record of creative activity through exhibitions, publications, awards, and/or professional achievement.
