Your role will contribute to the smooth operation of marina activities and ensure excellent service for our members.Job ResponsibilitiesOperate boat lifts, cranes, and related equipment safely and efficiently. Handle the launching, retrieval, and transportation of boats to and from the water and storage areas. Perform routine maintenance checks on lifting equipment to ensure functionality and safety. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe environment. Conduct thorough pre- and post-lift inspections of boats, reporting any damage or maintenance needs. Provide professional and courteous customer service to marina members, offering assistance and information as needed. Maintain accurate records of all boat movements and lift operations. Collaborate closely with other marina staff to coordinate boat handling activities and ensure efficient operations.Qualifications: Previous experience operating heavy equipment, preferably boat lifts. Basic understanding of boat mechanics and maintenance. Relevant certifications in heavy machinery operation are a plus. Physical ability to perform demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions. Strong verbal communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Attention to detail to ensure safe handling of boats and equipment. Problem-solving skills to address issues during lift operations.
