Description UESI seeks a highly skilled Marine Diving Engineer to join our team in Fort Pierce, FL. This position combines civil engineering with professional diving skills to thoroughly inspect bridges, seawalls, and other underwater structures. Your inspections may include condition and quality control, structural design and analysis of such structures, preparing technical reports, rehabilitations, and project repairs. For more information, visit: www.uesi.com Responsibilities: Conduct underwater inspections of bridges, seawalls, and other structures Ability to identify any signs of damage, corrosion, or structural concerns Utilize underwater photography, videography, or other techniques to document outcomes Prepare comprehensive reports on inspection results, including assessments of structural integrity, recommendations for repairs or maintenance, and estimation of project timelines and costs Work with engineering to develop repair strategies and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations Maintain knowledge and advancements within the underwater inspection industry Travel globally to project sites, as requiredQualifications: B.S. in Civil engineering with an emphasis in Structural design or a closely related field 5+ years of experience in underwater inspections, commercial dive operations, and marine engineering projects Experience with GIS and CAD is required PE in Florida or the ability to obtain it within 4 months of hire is required ADCI certification is required, with a preference for additional dive certifications relevant to underwater inspections#Pando Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final considerationRead, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English languageBasic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team membersAble to stand for approximately 3 hours minimum a day up to 8 hoursAble to traverse a construction job site consisting of uneven ground varying in height and consistency of material, with a variation of elevation 19 or less (mud, gravel, rutted ground, etc.)Able to climb and leave a ladder to a platform varying from 6' to 20'Able to wear and operate personal fall arresting apparatus, and work at a height of 6' or higherAble to wear GPI required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, and/or safety glasses/goggles while workingAble to move equipment or inspection specimens weighing up to 50 poundsAble to work in a confined space by the definition of OSHA Construction Standards 29CFR 1926Summary GPI offers excellent benefits, including a 401(k) plan, ESOP, medical/dental/vision plans, paid time off, and more.
