We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marine Mechanic to join our team in Stuart, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine engine repair, maintenance and installs with a passion for boating and a keen eye for detail.   • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in marine engines and systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on various types of watercrafts, including outboard, inboard, and stern drive engines.
  • Works on complex mechanical repairs and installs; Hamilton water jets, engines by Yanmar, CAT, Volvo Penta, Cummins or FPT
  • Familiar with working on onboard plumbing systems, hydraulics system installations, troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Knowledge of HVAC is preferred.
RequirementsJob Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in marine mechanics is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Marine Mechanic or similar role.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing various marine engines and systems.
  • Strong knowledge of marine electrical systems, hydraulics, and fuel systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Ability to install complete mechanical systems
  • Drive and desire to meet or beat schedule and budget for project with no rework.
  • The ability to write condition reports on boats, prepare actual estimates and plan projects through to completion is vital.
  • Work independently to complete projects and may lead a small work team to complete projects.
