We are seeking a talented Market Data Specialist to join a leading global hedge fund to join their centralised market data team which provides data solutions to both their discretionary and systematic businesses.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with stock exchanges as their primary global data sourcing contact.
- Work with exchange data providers, technology colleagues, and internal business clients on all levels, to understand and synthesize key data strategies across those areas and drive value for the firm.
- Maintain an expertise in stock exchange policies as well as broader industry knowledge to formulate strategic recommendations.
- Maintain in depth knowledge of exchange policy, strategy, and product roadmaps.
- Manage strategic direction for product demonstrations, pilots, competitive displacement opportunities.
- Collaborate with the legal, finance and business management functions to address all contractual, commercial, and audit relationship issues as they arise.
About you:
- Experience working with data vendors (Specifically real time data)
- Strong understanding of real-time market data requirements for a hedge fund, including discretionary and systematic use-cases.
- Deep exchange product and policy knowledge.
- Experience with DACS and EMRS administration
