The market manager will be involved in all facets of the sales process, including prospecting, relationship development, value determination through problem/need identification, quoting and account management.The person will be expected to be able to discuss commercial issues as well as some technical issues and solutions with engineering. The person will help develop product and market strategies and in identifying opportunities for the company to develop differentiated products.The company is looking for someone with a bachelor's degree or higher. Someone who has had at least one civilian job since exiting the military. They are very wary of perceived job-hoppers though. They want someone who has tried the civilian market and now truly understands what they want out of their career.You will begin as a consultant to current clients. Then added to nurturing relationships. Then finally tasked to find new opportunities for revenue for the company.This position can grow into sales leadership or you can move into operational leadership roles. All the top leaders within the company held this position at one time.Salary can go into the six figures. Bonuses/commissions can range between $0-$25k annually.
